Known as DStv, this is transmission of digital television signals via satellite. It is the ultimate transmission technology from True Visions for an unlimited entertainment experience.

DStv uses state of the art technology to send signals using MPEG II, a technology which allows greater channel capacity and coverage throughout Thailand and provides crystal-clear picture and sound, comparable to the laser disc. Transmission in the Ku-BAND frequency also means a smaller reception dish, easy set-up, and effective operation.

You must have a satellite dish set up to receive digital signals directly from ThaiCom5, plus IRD and smart card. As part of True Visions's DStv service, you are provided special services for viewing program schedules by using the TV GUIDE (Electronic Program Guide) button on the remote control.

With the touch of a button, select either the original soundtrack or Thai dubbing (this option applies only to programs for which True Visions and the supplier have arranged Thai dubbing).

The electronic program guide (EPG) contains quick and easily accessible program schedules for True Visions's channels. To plan your viewing, you can find the start and finish times of programs and what's coming up next, instantly.
