TrueVisions Concession Approval
 
1989 – MCOT and TrueVisions entered a joint venture agreement for the provision of subscription television service to the whole of Thailand on behalf of MCOT.
 
The First Subscriber-based
 
1989 - TrueVisions launched South East Asia’s first subscriber-based television network in Bangkok by using a MMDS transmission platform.
 
Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)
 
1994 – TrueVisions (In named UBC) was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand with a registered share capital of Baht 180 million.
 
TrueVisions Cable Concession Approval
 
1994 – MCOT and TrueVisions Cable entered into a contract for the joint operation of subscription television services to Bangkok and elsewhere on behalf of MCOT.
 
Launched DStv and Catv
 
1995 - TrueVisions launched its DStv service using Ku-band transmission and MPEGII video compression.
          - TrueVisions Cable launched its Catv service to providing in Bangkok Metropolitan Areas.
 
The Merger
 
1998 – A merger between TrueVisions and TrueVisions Cable was consummated with the acquisition by TrueVisions of the cable television business formerly operated by TrueVisions Cable, in exchange for a 49.5% shareholding in TrueVisions.
