Switch-off of TrueVisionsCable's long-overdue customers, to align TrueVisions Cable's credit control policies with TrueVisions’ after the merger of the two companies. After this process was completed, subscriber debtors' days outstanding have been reduced to less than 30 days. Further, there was a natural loss of customers as a result of the merger as customers who previously took both services now only needed to subscriber to one service as the programming was consolidated to be the same under both platforms. |

Price increase of 19% announced and implemented 1 May 1999. During this period the company has not marketed aggressively, as it has focused on communicating to existing customers the reasoning for price adjustments and managing the transition. |

Due to the price increase as mentioned in note 3, we had anticipated some fall off as a result of the price increase initially and the fall off were in line with our expectations and not significant as well as May, June, July are traditionally slow periods for the pay television business in Thailand. With the Premier League season completed and only restarting in August, local holidays and peak programming kicking in again from August we believe the decline to also be partly cyclical. |

The number has increased a fair amount on the number of 2nd quarter 1999. Churn levels have continued to remain under 1.5% per month, sustaining positive trends achieved in the first and 2nd quarter of 1999. This is one of the best churn percentages for a pay television operation in the Asian region. Sales have improved significantly on the back of strong content and strong marketing and promotional campaigns as well as adoption of new sales mechanisms such as direct sales approach, and proactive drives in the up country market. | |
